Taxidermied

On a surface where aerosol and oil collide, abandoned factories blur like smoke. The blended tones of sepia and black evoke the color of things turned to ash, while sharp lines scrape out the skeletons of structures fading into nothingness. These are spaces where form remains, but life has departed. The boundary of this period lies between the past and the present. The artist's gaze is still positioned outside that boundary, occupying the place of one who witnesses what has disappeared. Yet, it is already here: a pavilion standing alone in a corner of the canvas. A structure maintaining its shape, even as it drips downward, harboring a void within.
